Boston Wine Festival Welcomes L'Aventure

Distinguished Winemaker Stephan Asseo
Joins 20th Anniversary Celebration

What:
The Boston Harbor Hotel and the Boston Wine Festival invite guests to experience the distinguished wines of L'Aventure. Stephan Asseo's wines have been de_scribed as creative and adventurous by Robert Parker who has given L'Aventure many 92 plus ratings. This winemaker's search for the ultimate terroir, in order to produce these distinctive stylized wines, led him to the west side of Paso Robles. Stephan will lead guests through his array of wines paired with the sump_tuous cuisine of Chef Daniel Bruce. The price for the seminar and dinner is $205, dinner only is offered for $175.

When:
Tuesday, February 10, 2009
Seminar and dinner, 6:30 p.m.
Dinner only, 7:30 p.m.

Where:
Boston Harbor Hotel -- Atlantic Room

Why: For the 20th Anniversary, the Boston Wine Festival will continue to offer guests exclusive dinners hosted by some of the world's most renowned winemakers, each personally invited by Chef Bruce. To commemorate this benchmark season, each winery will feature either a 1990 vintage or their inception year wine. Chef Bruce pays homage to the past 19 years of the festival by offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a select few of the 3,000 never repeated dishes as he recreates them for this special occasion.

Seminars and dinners hosted by the winemaker or proprietor are sure to include their cellar bests, showcasing many older vintages, barrel samples and wines that are only available at the winery - giving guests an opportunity to be part of a truly once in a life time experience. Themed dinners, many of which are festival favorites, continue this year with special vintages showcased.
